March 29 2006 - Cordele Dispatch
CORDELE — Joseph Paletta III, CEO of Spotlight Theatres, announced Tuesday that a five-screen stadium seat theatre is scheduled to open in June 2006 in Cordele.
The cinema will be located where the current theater has sat empty for the past year or so.
“Spotlight Theatres is excited to be a part of Cordele,” said Paletta. “Cordele is a wonderful area and we know patrons of Spotlight Theatres will enjoy stadium seating, on-line ticketing and various amenities the theatre will offer.”
Paletta said the first run stadium five-screen theatre will feature plush high back seats with wide spacing between rows for extra legroom and stadium risers for unobstructed viewing.
All auditoriums will house high-gain, wall-to-wall screens with digital audio and high-quality projection equipment producing the best quality sight and sound for an enhanced movie-going experience, he added.
Patrons of Spotlight Theatres will enjoy amenities like on-line ticketing, will-call, an expanded concession menu, guaranteed seating and the Spotlight Rewards program where customers earn free movie tickets and free concession items.
Mark Worley, senior vice president of New Plan Excel Realty Trust said, “We are very pleased to welcome Spotlight Theatres to Cordele. This beautiful theater complex will help enhance our center and give the people of Cordele quality entertainment.”
