Spotlight Theatres At Lake Oconee Opening December 19th

General Manager Dan Chun is excited after many months of hard work, the days are now few as the opening of the Spotlight Theatre will be this Friday, December 19th at 4 p.m.
Eight movies will be showing this weekend. They are: “Yes Man”, “Seven Pounds”, “The Tale of Despereaux”, “Four Christmases”, "Twilight", "Bolt", “Quantum of Solace”, and “Madagascar 2”.
After opening day, movies will start at 1 p.m.
The theatre has a 1,200 seating capacity in a 40,000 sq. foot build- ing.
Joe Paletta, CEO of Spotlight, has masterminded a beautiful structure with a special VIP section on the second level. This section offers leather seats and a full cash bar which will be available for an additional $10 on the movie ticket price or for an annual concierge membership of $199, which includes numerous additional perks for members.
Chun said the theatre will be open 7 days a week offering both matinee and evening screenings. “We plan movie times at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m., and 10 p.m.” he added. “After we’ve been open awhile we will evaluate attendance and may adjust the times on vari- ous days, but we will have to see how that goes.”
Ticket prices will be $8 for matinees, and $10 for evening movies (after 6 p.m.) Special prices will be offered to seniors and children. Childcare will be available in the evenings.
General Manager Dan Chun will guide 45 employees to make the Spotlight Theatre one of the top movie houses in Georgia and they look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
